Away we go!!

Michele and I are starting to write this blog at the end of our freshman year of college. Just an hour ago, we moved out of our dorms, and we are now heading back home.

We have big plans for the summer: we are both going to Europe with our families! I am going on a Catholic pilgrimage in France and then I will be touring Spain, Portugal, and Italy in June and July. In June, Michele will be exploring Spain and all the art and excitement it has to offer. :)

We begin this blog with the intention in mind of using it to study and contemplate art even over the summer and to share our love for it with you all, in the process. We will write about our stories and adventures during our travels, both art-related and not (there will probably be funny anecdotes, memes, and food thrown in) while at the same time writing about particular works of art and particular artists that we love.

We hope you will all enjoy reading this as much as we know we will enjoy writing!
